It seems that the next part of the Lies of P game will turn into an open world project, unlike the current part that we saw linearly. According to a job vacancy published by the team, the next part will completely change the rules of the game.
The Lies of P game was released last year and managed to sell more than 7 million copies across all home platforms on which the game was released. The team had confirmed shortly after the game was released that it would get a sequel, and this is indeed what we saw during the events of the current part.
Through its website, the NEOWIZE team announced its need for developers with experience in open-world games. The team did not mention anything else such as why they might need them and for what project, but since we know that the second part of the game is under development, this announcement may actually be related to the game.
The game revolves around Binkoyo and his battle against the dolls that we know from his world. The game is of the Souls-like type, but it is fun by presenting many unique gameplay and combat elements.
Of course, this project is not the only one presented by the team, as it presented other games and projects with different directions and styles than what we know, but the Lies of P project is the best so far in the history of the studio and the most successful in terms of sales and fame.
